Firewalls
Netway Networks builds, installs, monitors and manages firewalls based on a hardened version of the Linux operating system and other open source software. The firewall provides secure and effective control of a shared Internet connection such as xDSL, ISDN, Frame, Cable, Wireless, DDS etc - including any combinations!
Our firewalls are a key component in our alerting systems and remote management capabilities, and often provide Internet related services such as VPN server, email relay, anti-virus, anti-spam, Intrusion Detection and Web Proxy. Netway's firewall also supports advanced functions such as multipath routing (multiple internet connections), most QoS protocols and custom resource management requirements.

Installation

Maintenance
Netway Networks uses a combination of intelligent scripts, SNMP utilities and third party applications to provide real-time monitoring and alerting on critical server and network statistics, including resource utilisation, service accessability and backup reporting.

When combined with remote access capabilities, Netway can take remedial actions on servers as required, including applying service packs and other updates, usually outside of business operating hours.

Webmail
Webmail enables authorised users to securely access the corporate email infrastructure from any internet enabled computer or hand held device. We can configure webmail services using Outlook Web Access, ActiveSync, Lotus Notes or the open source SquirrelMail web server.

Netway operates an SMS portal and can configure web, email and other front-ends for sending messages to mobile phones.
